Repair shops
Repair shop software, made for your workshop.
“A customer brings a laptop, we write it in the sheet with a number, a technician takes it, when it’s fixed we call the customer.” Then jobs get lost, deadlines slip, and nobody can see who is doing what.
The questions it will ask you
- Which piece of your work do you want to organise? Describe the last repair, step by step.
- A repair is one day late. Do you tell the customer automatically, or does the manager decide?
- Can a technician close a job without the customer’s signature?
- Who confirms the final check before the customer hears “ready to collect”?
- Who may give a discount, and up to how much?
- Sometimes two technicians work on one job. Who is responsible, and who only helps?
An example of rules — with numbers
- A job moves through four states: received → in repair → ready → delivered.
- The deadline is the date received plus 14 days; a job past it is marked late.
- One day after the deadline, the customer receives an update automatically.
- “Ready to collect” is sent only after the final check is confirmed.
- Only the owner gives discounts, up to 10%.
An illustrative example, not a real customer. Your own rules are written with you in the interview.
What you receive
- The application
- Built around your rules, on your own computer or server, with your data.
- Independent checks
- A second AI from a different company checks every important rule, from the screen to the database and back.
- Hosting
- Domain, SSL, database and backups, from the same panel that built it.
- Maintenance
- A change is a message in the same project: the factory makes it, checks it again and keeps the record.
Ready-made software or made to measure?
If a ready-made program for your trade already fits the way you work, use it: it costs less and starts today.
Made to measure is worth it when your shop works differently — your own states, your own deadlines, your own rules about who may close a job or give a discount — and you are tired of bending the work to fit the program.

Questions people ask
All the articlesDo I need a technical person to get repair shop software?
No. You describe how your shop works and decide the rules; a CodeHero partner runs the factory for you or issues you your own licence.
Can the customers see the status of their repair?
If you want it, yes — it is one more decision in the interview: what they see, and how they get the link.
Can I bring the jobs I already have in Excel?
Yes. The sheet is imported, and every row that was changed or rejected is listed for you.
If CodeHero writes the code, what is my role?
You become the advisor: you decide the business rules, approve the plan and accept the result. CodeHero is the developer that asks, builds, checks and maintains. Read the article
How can this change the world of applications?
When the person who knows the work can get software made, checked, hosted and maintained without a development team, software can be made for every business and every need — not only for those that can afford a team. Read the article
