Clinics and practices
Appointment software for your clinic, made to measure.
“A patient cancels two hours before, and the slot stays empty — while three people on the waiting list would have taken it.” Phone calls, a paper diary and reminders sent by hand cost time every day.
The questions it will ask you
- A patient cancels two hours before. Is the slot offered to the waiting list automatically, or does reception call first?
- Who may see a patient’s clinical notes — only the treating clinician, or the whole care team?
- Can two patients ever be booked in the same slot?
- How long before an appointment is the reminder sent, and how — SMS or email?
- How long is each kind of appointment, and which clinicians do which kinds?
- Who may move or cancel an appointment: the patient, reception, the clinician?
An example of rules — with numbers
- Two confirmed appointments are never booked in the same slot.
- A reminder is sent 24 hours before each appointment.
- A cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice offers the slot to the waiting list, in the order people joined it.
- Reception sees the diary and contact details; only the treating clinician reads the clinical notes.
- A first visit lasts 40 minutes, a follow-up 20.
An illustrative example, not a real customer. Your own rules are written with you in the interview.
What you receive
- The application
- Built around your rules, on your own computer or server, with your data.
- Independent checks
- A second AI from a different company checks every important rule, from the screen to the database and back.
- Hosting
- Domain, SSL, database and backups, from the same panel that built it.
- Maintenance
- A change is a message in the same project: the factory makes it, checks it again and keeps the record.
Ready-made software or made to measure?
Many good booking programs exist for clinics. If one fits your practice, use it.
Made to measure is worth it when your practice works its own way: your own appointment types and durations, your own rules about the waiting list, who sees what, and how the diary connects to the rest of your work. Who may read which data, and for how long it is kept, is decided with you in the interview and written into the specification.

Questions people ask
All the articlesWho decides how patient data is protected?
You do, in the interview: who reads which data, for how long it is kept, and what reception may see. The rules are written into the specification and checked.
Can patients book online?
If you want it — it is a decision in the interview, together with what they may choose and what needs reception’s confirmation.
Can reminders go by SMS?
Yes, through an SMS service of your choice; its account and cost are yours, and the interview records it as an input.
Do my passwords and keys reach the AI company?
Not the ones you store as secrets (eight characters or longer): your application uses them, but their values are not sent to the AI service. A password typed into a chat message or shown in a screenshot cannot be recognised — store every password as a secret. Read the article
How can this change the world of applications?
When the person who knows the work can get software made, checked, hosted and maintained without a development team, software can be made for every business and every need — not only for those that can afford a team. Read the article
